This morning I got my concordance and counted how many times it came to pass (past tense) is in the bible. (Yes I’m weird like that.) I discovered it is found 530 times. That’s more than enough for every day of the year!
In life we go through things. Our hearts break. Our minds question. Our loads get heavy. Our bodies react. Our vision clouds. Our minds get weary. But we must go through . . . . . until we reach the point where we look back and say “and it came to pass.”

Mary,
A friend alerted me of your blogspot and I have taken the time to read many of your posts.
This one took me back to a time early in my marriage to my late wife. I had been laid off and we were going through a rough patch. We just kept hanging on to God’s unchanging hand but I knew the load on Lindy was great. Bro. Rex Johnson preached a sermon on this very thing and for the first time since she received the Holy Ghost I watched as my new bride danced before the Lord. I also found out she had a “banshee” scream as she exited our pew. Thanks for the little reminder, it brought tears to my eyes thinking back to that night. And it reminded me that the loneliness of the past 2-1/2 years “came to pass”.

Thanks for stopping by. When we’re going through things our vision is foggy, but in hindsight we can clearly see ‘it came to pass.’
