“OK men, after six steps we’ll stop. Help me count. One, two, three, four, five, six. That’s it. Stop. Get a bull and a fattened calf for a sacrifice. It’s time to bless the Lord.”
And so it went, In 2 Samuel 6:13-15, six steps and a sacrifice, six steps and a sacrifice, as David and his men carried the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem.
Today is Sunday, the christian’s sabbath or seventh day. After working six days, today is our seventh step time–time to worship and praise Him.
